VasthuVidya
               a prologue

Scientific and systematic civil engineering architecture was prevalent in India from Veda Era. 'VasthuKala (Civil Architecture), ShilpaKala (Sculptural Art) and ChithraKala (Painting Art) are depicted in 'SthapathyaVeda' as a sub heading under AdharvaVeda among the FOUR legendary Indian Vedas (Sciences) - RigVeda, YejurVeda, SamaVeda and AdharvaVeda.

Indian Traditional Architecture (VasthuVidya) is developed in the aura of virgin nature, the primary requisite for comfortable living. It assumes a reasonable relationship or even concern among man and nature. The basis of VasthuVidya is the intimacy of man and nature which has been widely accepted all over the world. In VasthuVidya Civil Architecture is standardized with rigid calculations without tampering the equilibrium of nature along with the rhythmic inter association of nature. This reassurance is sustained with rigid systems, ratios, calculations, Do & Don’ts. Simply this is VasthuVidya.

Just as other Technology branches VasthuVidia strategically assumes the developments in Science & Technology and infrastructural requirements to accommodate the present needs of man. VasthuVidya amalgamated with the modern Architecture would be a good preposition for better scene for the dwelling of mankind.
